Commissioner commends dedicated staff

Kano State Commissioner for Higher Education, Dr. Mariya Mahoud Bunkure has commended the entire staff of the ministry for supporting her to discharge her duties accordingly. 


She made the commendation at a send off party in honor of the retired Director Quality Assurance, Malam Saad G. Faruk and the Director Administration, Musbahu Yusha’u Yakasai, who was transferred to another place, held at the ministry.

The commissioner described the commitments of the staff as impressive, assuring her readiness to continue her efforts towards uplifting the standard of education at tertiary institutions in the state.

She commended the retired director for his contribution in providing quality education in higher institutions of the state.

She said since her assumption to office the state government under Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has been given all the necessary support and cooperation to the ministry towards executing developmental projects as well as providing conducive atmosphere of learning to the state students at Aminu Kano College of Legal Studies, College of Remedial Studies Tudun Wada as well as payment of Scholarship, settlement of student school fees to Almansour University, Egypt American University and other higher institutions.

Speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Malam Dahiru Ada’u commended the commissioner for her revolution to the higher education sector in the state, saying since her assumption in office, the ministry has witnessed a lot of infrastructural development and other academic performance.

In his respond the celebrant, Malam Sa’ad G. Faruk thanked the management and entire staff of the ministry for honoring him and assured his readiness to contribute his quota towards uplifting the standard of education in the state.
