Doctors from Nasarawa States, North Central Nigeria, have successfully separated a pair of Siamese twins.
PARADISE NEWS learnt that the operation of the conjoined twins was carried out by a medical team of 55 personnel at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, Nasarawa State.
A Twitter user, Omasoro Ali Ovie (@OvieAli) who shared the story on Monday, July 20, 2020 morning, also stated that it took 6 hours for the operation to be done.
“Last year they had to refer a Siamese twins to another hospital in Abuja for operations, but now FMC Keffi has performed operations to this conjoined twins; with a medical team of 55 personnel working for 6 hours”, @OvieAli tweeted.
He added that the “governor of Nasarawa, Engineer Abdullahi Sule supported the parents of the twins with N10 million”.
