Nasarawa State Gov Reduce Land Charges Due To Covid-19

Nasarawa State government has approved the reduction of land charges, outstanding payments on Development levy and ground rents due to covid nineteen pandemic across the State.

The Director general Nasarawa State geographic information service NAGIS Mr Sonny Agassi disclosed this while briefing newsmen in lafia the state Capital.

The Director general Nasarawa State geographic information service Sonny Agassi said the reduction on all the land charges expecially development levy, premium and ground rent become nesscessary in view of the drop in all business activities across the globe occasioned by the covid nineteen pandemic.

Mr Sonny Agassi explained that the move is a deliberate effort by the state government in the State land sub sector to reduce the hardship been faced by people as a result of dreaded disease in the State.

While calling on citizens to use the opportunity for the reduction, the director general noted that the state government is working round the clock to better the living condition of it’s Citizens across the State.

Sonny Agassi pointed out that the move was a collective decision taken at the meeting of the Council members of ease of doing business in the State.
